The SMRH exhibition layout is a fictious setting modeling British 60's operations through to modern day.
The layout features double mainline action and single line traffic with a terminus station and yard.
A hidden return loop allows all trains to be made up at the terminus, run down and around the mainlines and return back up to the terminus approx 2 to 3 hours after they departed due to traffic conjestion this busy network.
Layout size is 6mtrs x 3mtrs center operating.
The layout is wired for cab control (4 hand-held controllers) and features operational automatic colour signals on both the double main and branch line.
